History

Vic Nixon was one of the many police officers that befriended Dragon during his time on the Chicago Police Department. Bill Ford and he were best friends and partners, the two becoming almost constant companions. They often joked about women and were obsessed with Rita Medermade.

When the police were sent into the underground to evict Rock’s tribe, Nixon ignored orders to use non-lethal weapons. He opened fire upon the visiting WildStar and hit him with a glancing shot to the skull, making the clash that much worse. Nixon remained on the force and was present when they raced to Dragon’s aid when he was battling the Vicious Circle in Pipetown. The OverLord armour had been cast aside there and Nixon decided to steal the battle-suit for his own use.

Nixon would don the OverLord armour simply so that he could spy on Rita Medermade, witnessing her abduction at the hands of Ralph Jonson. He followed them to the Lieberheim Embassy where he then shot Ralph dead. OverLord’s original persona had now taken complete control of his host form and kept him within full-time.

OverLord reignited his vendetta against Dragon and targeted him for execution on his wedding, instead blasting his bride. This led to a brutal final confrontation where OverLord’s minions were all defeated before the villain himself was defeated. The battle-suit was later destroyed to prevent further deaths.

When CyberFace took control of the world and the police force became scattered, Vic Nixon was one of the few officers to sign on to work for this new world order. The force eventually reformed and when Dragon returned as an officer, Vic Nixon was one of the first to welcome him back. He was then killed along with all of his colleagues when the precinct was blown up by OverLord’s photon blast.
