SUMMARY

In a building filled with super-freaks, the billionaire Elrod Merch is hung upside down by the criminal Night-Dwellers. He is to be ransomed off for a huge payoff but the group come under assault by Malcolm Dragon. He fights his way through the Night-Dwellers until he recovers the hostage and successfully retrieves him and leaps clear. The villains note that their boss is not going to be happy with this interference in his plans.

Meanwhile on Glum World, a horde of alien invaders invade the planet to eliminate the individual who had once tried to conquer all of Dimension-X. The young Angel races onto the scene with weapons that belonged to Mister Glum. Frank and she are then able to fend off the alien invaders and enjoy their victory. Back on Earth, Battle Girl pays a visit to Captain Tootsie and requests that he come up with a method with which to track down her husband in Dimension-X.

The Dragon kids play around with Walter which causes a good deal of damage to the room. Maxine is annoyed by this carnage as their apartment is not even owned by them but the government. She thinks that Walter should try and find a job and his own place, or even move back to the streets. Walter promises to behave and Amy begs her mother for him to be allowed to stay.

Malcolm pays a visit to the hospital where the rest of S.O.S. West are still recovering from the many injuries they received whilst fighting the Grokk. He mentions how he has had to bring in a number of local super-powered threats by himself. His teammates are less than thrilled with his banter as they still have bones to heal.

Paul and Alex try out a number of pizzas from different restaurants with the kids and Walter. Malcolm learns that his wife has decided to sue Mickey Mouse for sexual harassment. He argues with Maxine about it as he wanted to be free of that creep. Maxine remains enraged by her assailant’s actions and wants to stop him from doing it again. With the money they could win from the lawsuit they could move out of the S.O.S. compound and into their own place.

The Night-Dwellers suddenly emerge from the shadows and attack the couple by surprise. A terrified Maxine is thrown clear from the melee by her husband and lands safely on a nearby rooftop, powerless to stop Malcolm from being abducted by the villains. Malcolm is taken by his captors to meet their boss, Manley Warbride, a local crime-lord. The large bruiser of villain explains how he had tolerated Malcolm’s recent actions as he had been protecting their city but now that he has interfered with his own operations then he must be eliminated.

Malcolm and Warbride battle it out in an even duel but the arrival of Paul Dragon and the kids soon turns the tide of battle. The rest of the Night-Dwellers are soon routed by their opponents who had been called in by the worried Maxine. She watches on from afar, unaware a Night-Dweller was about to attack her but she is saved by a previously hidden Walter. Warbride had snuck away during the battle but the heroes are free to celebrate their win.
