History
Amanda Mills was a successful young model whose wealthy parents caused her to become targeted by criminals. A group of men abducted her and held the young woman hostage for a ransom. Dragon (with the aid of the vigilante Star) apprehended these criminals, earning the eternal gratitude of Amanda.
As time went on, Amanda became obsessed with trying to start a relationship with Dragon purely because he saved her life. This went on for years until Dragon bent the truth slightly and claimed that it was Star who really saved her and that Peter Klaptin had been the man beneath the mask at the time.
Peter and Amanda struck up a relationship but they eventually split up when Amanda fell for the drummer in Peter’s band, Bruce Love. Bruce was the person truly behind the lyrics of the band’s songs and Amanda soon married him instead. She was later abducted and killed by Chelsea Nirvana. Her body was dumped in a river to serve as a distraction for Dragon, allowing Chelsea to steal the Mighty Man powers from Ann Stevens.
In the Savage Universe it is discovered that Amanda committed suicide due to the fact of the two men she loved dying. One being Peter Klaptin and the other Dragon who was not really dead.
