Dr. Nirvana was the most well-known enemy of the original Mighty Man, plaguing his nemesis from World War II all the way through to the hero’s death. He continued his vendetta when a second Mighty Man emerged by trying to create a superhuman army. Rapture was the only successful subject but her empowerment caused Dr. Nirvana to be caught in an explosion and be left comatose.

When Chelsea Nirvana had been trapped in a male form that resembled her father, she decided that Dr. Nirvana was redundant and injected him with Solution X, a supposedly untraceable poison. It was actually a rejuvenating serum that awoke the villain, enabling him to trade his mind with that of his daughter’s so that he could inhabit a new, younger body and continue his plans.

An experiment to open a portal into Dimension-X to bring over the Absorbanoids as his slaves was foiled when Chelsea returned in the newly stolen Mighty Man form. She snapped the neck of Dr. Nirvana before heading off for her own doomed attempt to take control of the Vicious Circle.

When Dragon travelled dimensions and found himself in his own past, he intercepted Chelsea before she could kill Ann Stevens for the Mighty Man abilities. This then enabled Dr. Nirvana to succeed in bringing over the Absorbanoids. He led them on an attack of Mighty Man but when Dragon and the Demon Dogs got involved, an explosion occurred that killed Dr. Nirvana.
