History
The Fiend III was desperate to claim revenge upon the Dragon but did not want to take the risk of killing him in case his soul was sent to Heaven and was reunited with her daughter, Debbie Harris. The villainess was content at first to merely make Dragon’s life a living Hell, until she could find a way to actually send her nemesis to the dreaded realm of the damned.
Eventually, this quest for vengeance led the Fiend III to the home of an unnamed sorcerer who brokered a deal for her with the Devil, selling her soul to him in return for keeping the Dragon’s soul in his realm. After Dragon was captured, he was sent to Hell to spend all of eternity in supposed agony. As he was not actually deceased, Dragon’s experience was pretty tamed and he was eventually released when this anonymous mystic made his own deal with God to have him forgiven in return for Dragon’s release. He was killed in an explosion that consumed the human body of the Fiend III, destroying the clues which may have allowed Dragon to understand just what happened to him.
